Clerk Time Card Entry
The Clerk Time Card Entry window permits reporting of time by an authorized clerk. If multiple clerks are entering time, each clerk will have access to the time cards they individually entered. Time cards are approved based on the crew assignment.
The Clerk Time Card Entry Form is designed to facilitate manual keyboard entry of reported time, and assumes the clerk is entering timecards for other individuals. The Clerk can only enter the information reported by the employee on the ‘paper time card.' If the employee wrote an invalid Work Order Id on the timecard, the clerk cannot know what the ‘correct’ Work Order should be. The Current Field Value will display red as invalid data is entered but will not prevent the clerk from entering what was reported. The timecard can only be entered, but not submitted, if it is invalid.
